Brand mascot design

Frituur Draakske is a cool snackbar near Antwerp serving yummy Belgian fries, sauces and snacks.

Help selling their products

Dave from Frituur Draakske asked me to make their pricing list more readable.
He was also looking for a way to feature some of their home made and special products.

You can’t build without a good foundation

Draakske did not have a visual identity yet that aligned with their brand personality and values. So this was the first step in the process.

I designed a compact identity with a simple palette consisting of warm and joyful colours. The brand needs to express Dave’s personality as he is the founder and face of the shop.

Promos that sell themselves

Like literally. We created 3 simple and fun illustrations with snack characters that tell people about the new products.

Draakske’s homemade ‘dragon ketchup sauce’

The ‘twijfelaars’ (= doubters) are a special snack made up of several other snacks for people who can’t choose (like me).

The ‘veggie twijfelaar’ (= veggie doubter)

The ‘pikante twijfelaar’ (= spicy doubter)

What it looks like

The designs appear on 2 big TV’s showing 8 pages in total. Hierarchy and readability are key, so people’s eye is quickly directed to the info they want.

Each product promo is featured on a separate page, highlighting the current offers.
